January 24, 2014 - The Kenyan DAILY POST can now report of
a con artist who has robbed Kenyans millions of shillings and is currently hiding
in Tanzania.
The man by the name Kelly Kariuki Macharia has perfected the
art of conning gullible Kenyans through several rogue companies.
According to our informers, Kariuki, who is from Laikipia County
started his conning art from his home where he conned his first wife Sh 400,000
and later dumped her a day after she realized she has been swindled.
He later married a second wife whom he conned Ksh 600, 000.
The second wife informed Kenya Police who arrested him but he bought his
freedom through bribes.
Kariuki dumped his second wife after the incident.
Without shame and regret, Kariuki, who is in his mid
thirties, managed to escape through our porous borders to Tanzania and has
married his third wife with an aim of conning her the same way he has done to
his ex-wives. He also runs a small business there as he lies down targeting his
next prey.
So as people’s watchmen, we advice any Kenyan or Tanzanian
citizen who has details about Kelly Kariuki’s activities and can testify against him in
court to report to the nearest police station so that he can answer to charges he
has committed on Kenyan soil.
He is currently running a briefcase
company in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania by the name City Cab 24 hrs.
